Work made during 5 month research residency with Rhubaba artist studios.
Research during the residency has focused on considering how our public parks and green spaces can be sites of resistance and occupied to push up against systems of power in the built environment.
Looking into Glasgow Green, as a case study of an area of common land that has histories as a site for open air education and trade union organising.
Thinking through the ways this history can be understood in the site today - questioning how poetry, ritual and memory feed into our understanding of cities.
